Are homeopathic medicines safe?   

Absolutely! Homeopathic medicines are given in sub-physiological doses. They do not have any chemicals or added colors in them. Usually they do not have any side effects and they cannot cause any structural damage in general. They are safe for infants and pregnant women too. But homeopathic medicines often have very profound action on human economy, so they should not be taken without consultation with a qualified homeopath.

How long the homeopathic treatment does takes to cure?

This depends on the illness as well as the individual capabilities to respond to the homeopathic line of treatment. In general, a slowly developing or long-standing complaint takes longer to cure than an acute one. The time for cure varies from patient-to-patient. The cure may start within 15 days time or immediately after starting the treatment, it is recommended that you continue the treatment up to two months at least from disappearance of your symptoms.

Is homeopathic cure is merely a psychological ‘satisfaction’?

If you think you must "believe in" homeopathy for it to work, you need to know that it is not a placebo effect. How can homeopathy yield results in case of infant if it would have been merely a placebo effect?  Homeopathic remedies are successfully used by parents for infantile ailments ranging from colic, teething pain to bronchial asthma, recurrent upper respiratory tract infections.
